Our TINY TIGERS program is specifically developed for ages 3 to 6 years old. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as focus, respect, and discipline. In addition, the program offers training that develops children's fine and gross motor skills, as well as their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group. The goal of this program is to successfully transition the TINY TIGERS into the KARATE FOR KIDS or LEADERSHIP programs designed for ages 7-12. There are many reasons for kids to become involved in the martial arts. We have developed a program based on traditional Taekwondo
for children ages 7-12 called Karate for Kids. This program is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to martial arts skills.
Martial Arts Really Has An ImpactA psychological study found that children in martial arts have an increased sense of responsibility and a decrease in the willingness to
take foolish risks. They also have a high sense of self-esteem. This is why millions of parents are using martial arts to supplement their
children's education. Parents enroll their children in our programs for different reasons, but with one common goal: to help their children
grow and mature to the best of their abilities. Parents play a unique role in their children's training, acting as the liaison from the karate school
to the home. The more an instructor knows about a child's home and school life, the better he/she can work with the child and the parent.
Our Reward System Improves Children's Self ConfidenceOur belt and award systems are the keys to building self esteem. When kids earn their belts or earn stars for grades, it gives them a
great sense of accomplishment that really improves the way they feel about themselves.
Our Program Teaches Children DisciplineWe have a trained staff of patient instructors who love to work with children, but are also very clear about limits. We enforce good
rules and behavior in class and we expect the same good behavior at home and in school.
Our Activities Channel Children's Aggression and EnergyOur school provides a positive outlet that gives the kids a safe place for them to expel their energy. In fact studies have shown that children
who learn Self Defense become more assertive and less aggressive.

The Teens & Adult Program at Legacy Master Martial Arts is for ages 13 and up.
Today’s world is getting tough for Teens. Our goal is to create a safe place to learn self-defense, discipline, and confidence without being ridiculed for their mistakes. This sense of identity will boost their confidence and help increase their ability to deal with the high-pressure situations they are faced with on a daily basis. Teens need a place to become independent from their parents, and be challenged to work towards their maximum potential. Plus, our program helps them to get involved with other teens who have similar goals. This is a great way to keep accountability and increase social-skills.
As an Adult learn self-defense and increase confidence while improving your fitness level and reducing stress. Meet new people and build your leadership abilities in a positive, motivating environment. The teen and adult program at Legacy Master Martial Arts is more than just a work-out; it's a program that teaches students to maintain good habits not only in physical activity, but in life in general. Through well structured classes, students of all ages are able to train in a safe and supportive environment. All adult students are looked upon as individuals and are never compared. The adult program is based upon three core principals: Fitness, Self-Defense, and Self-Confidence.
Traditional Taekwondo: This class emphasizes the traditions
of ATA Taekwondo training. Training centers on forms development, technical
development, timing, mental focus and physical development.
Defensive Tactics: A system of controlled defensive and offensive body movements used to respond to a subject’s aggression or resistance. These techniques are an expansion of colored belt self-defense.
Power Training: Black belts will be challenged to improve their technical abilities, timing, fitness, flexibility, and board breaking while developing a comprehensive knowledge of proper martial arts training.
Pro-Tech: Training programs include BME, SJB, JB (bo staff), etc. Instructors use these training tools to teach black belts advanced coordination, application and improve martial arts skills. Pro-tech weapons are a part of rank advancement.
Sparring: Black belts will train reflexive responses against unplanned attacks. Essentially, black belts will learn to move beyond the basic sparring concepts in favor of spontaneous movements designed for true self-defense.
Leadership: Black belts learn guiding principles of our martial arts system. Black belts learn the communication skills of a Master Instructor.
At Legacy Master Martial Arts we offer a well rounded martial fitness
program. Our program incorporates Kickboxing Aerobics,
Cage Fitness, and Warrior XFit. Whether you are a martial arts student or just looking for a great workout this is the program for you!
Kickboxing Aerobics is a full body intensive cardio workout in a room full of other motivated athletes soaked in sweat! Students will
learn how to use kicks, punches, strikes, and blocks in a rhythmic motion while getting one of the best workouts.
Cage Fitness is based on the structure of a championship MMA bout. Cage Fitness will give you a toatl body workout in just five 5 minute rounds.
There are four key elements that are focused on: Endurance,
The exercises that comprise each workout (or "Fight") are based on martial arts training. Each exercise is done for a specified amount of time,
to a certain number of repetitions, so your fights always last 20 minutes. Risistance bands are used during this class.
